We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and ensuring the highest standards of Health and Safety. We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Shunter Manager to join our team. Job Description: As a Shunter Manager, you will work alongside the Cleaning Manager in supervising and managing the shunting team. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring daily briefs are conducted, overseeing shunters' tasks, arranging refresher training, and maintaining strict adherence to Health and Safety measures. Key Responsibilities: Compliance and Supervision: Read, understand, and enforce the companys Standard Operating Procedures for shunting activities. Supervise the shunting team proactively, maintaining a positive attitude at all times. Issue Resolution: Address any concerns regarding Standard Operating Procedures with the Cleaning Manager promptly. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety requirements. Ensure proper use and storage of all shunting equipment. Report any damaged or defective equipment immediately. Daily Briefs and Training: Conduct daily safety briefs with the shunting team, outlining tasks and safety protocols. Ensure shunters adhere to SSOW and within their capabilities. Arrange refresher training as required. Professional Conduct: Act responsibly and consider other site activities. Work flexibly within your level of competence and authority. Cooperation and Communication: Cooperate with our customer at all times. Communicate daily with the customer, ensuring accurate documentation is submitted timely. Planning and Auditing: Participate in planning and auditing activities. Qualifications: 2 years experience in a management or supervisory role Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team. Proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution.
