_ Overall, Purpose of Job _Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunityThe Procurement & Business Executive plays a key role in ensuring the efficient delivery of Re-Gen Robotics' operations across the UK and US. This includes coordinating procurement activities, managing asset and stock records, maintaining health & safety and compliance systems, overseeing insurance and customs processes, and supporting operational and business development functions. The role requires a strong understanding of engineering processes, excellent organisational and negotiation skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach. Main activities/tasks Source and procure mechanical, electrical, and industrial components, tools, machinery, and services to support engineering and maintenance projects. Interpret technical specifications and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the correct materials are ordered. Place and monitor purchase orders, track lead times, and ensure timely deliveries to job sites. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers in the UK and US; evaluate supplier capabilities and oversee procurement contracts. Issue purchase orders and approve supplier invoices with correct financial coding for management reporting. Negotiate pricing, volume discounts, and long-term contracts; track procurement KPIs and cost-saving initiatives Maintain stock levels for PPE, spare parts, hoses, pumps, generators, and other equipment at the Yard and on-site systems. Oversee allocation and monitoring of company fuel cards and mobile phones, ensuring accurate weekly updates.8 Maintain up-to-date asset registers, including HGVs, vans, engines, hoses, and other equipment, tracking maintenance schedules and certifications. Source, renew, and manage insurance policies for UK and US operations, ensuring appropriate risk coverage and compliance with legal requirements. Keep accurate records of insured assets and update insurers with any changes to job sites or storage locations Support the SHEQ Manager in maintaining ISO-compliant integrated management systems (IMS) Manage registers and maintenance schedules for safety-critical equipment including gas monitors, RPE, and radios Coordinate and support ISO audits, working with internal teams and external auditors to ensure readiness and compliance. Oversee hire of equipment for projects, ensuring advance planning to avoid delays. Manage detailed Equipment Lists for robotic systems and maintain full traceability of containers and contents. Maintain a comprehensive Document Register to ensure all compliance and operational documentation is current and accessible. Handle customs declarations, import processes, and commodity codes for US operations. Maintain and renew EPA and NHTSA exemptions for equipment and vehicles used in the US. Assist the Business Development team with the preparation of bids and tenders, including obtaining equipment hire quotes. Support operational recruitment and administrative tasks in collaboration with the centralised HR team. Act as an out-of-hours contact to support teams working onsite in the UK and USA. Provide holiday cover for other operational colleagues when needed.
