Freshasia Foods is a rapidly expanding, manufacturer of Chinse frozen food As part of our growth strategy we are looking to expand our logistics team in London Office. It is an opportunity to grow into a wider function from the ground up, including implementing processes and procedures. This incredibly fast-paced and varying environment is growing week by week. The successful candidate will support day-to-day activities required to generate international growth. Job duties: Execution of transportation activities in accordance with all customer service requirements Ensuring on-time delivery of freight in line with customer service requirements Standardising internal logistics processes and methodology Managing all logistics staff Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements Provision of pricing for spot quote business as per customer requirements Actively identifying opportunities to reduce transport cost and improve margins Utilisation of problem solving tools and implement corrective actions as appropriate Provision of world class customer service, and ownership of assigned customers Tracking of loads through to delivery, and provide customer updates, where necessary. Overseeing stock check to ensure accuracy Ensuring that all data is input accurately into company system Completion of invoicing to customers Ensuring that all reporting requirements are met in accordance with company standards Communicating regularly and succinctly with colleagues Who are you? Experience with international logistics Experience with Road, Air and Sea freight Good communicator (First-class written, verbal, organisational and interpersonal skills) Sharp eye, exceptional memory and attention to detail Able to plan, execute and deliver targets, manage and contain workload, you will have autonomy to deliver on this and will enable you to take ownership of your role A highly organised, detail-oriented, self-starter - with the ability to develop and prioritise workload, working independently and as part of a team Excellent understanding of Supply Chain Excellent phone manner Proficient in MS Excel Flexible so as to develop the role to best meet the changing needs of a rapidly growing technology company Problem-solver Diligent Analytical mind and good research skills Enjoy working in a small tightly-knit teamStart date: ImmediatePackage: 28 days holiday ,government workplace pension schemeJob Type: Full-timeExperience: Logistics: 5 years 40,000.0050,000.00 : ()Work Location:
