So naturally, we want the best team members.We are recruiting for a casual driver / pall bearer to join our close-knit team to support our funeral-related operations.Full training will be given but you must hold a full driving licence.Your responsibilities will including: Collection of the deceased, primarily from nursing homes and hospitals, but also private homes, with another team member Being one of four Pall Bearers lifting and carrying coffins between the hearse and crematoria, churches and burial sites Forging strong links with the community and actively engaging with local groups to build the reputation of the business locallyAptitude and a professional attitude are a must, but the following will support your application: Experience of Funerals, emergency services or the military is preferred Immaculate presentation, with good communication and organisational skills Ability to conduct yourself in a dignified and professional manner Flexibility to work weekends and unsociable hours when the need arises, sometimes at short notice Drive and ambition to contribute meaningfully to our growth and be rewarded for it A full driving licenceThe right candidate will be comfortable working as part of a team and in conjunction with our Funeral Director.To apply please send your CV and Covering Letter highlighting your suitability and reasons for wanting to join us.Job Type: Part-timePay: 12.21-13.50 per hourExpected hours: 8 15 per weekBenefits: Company pension Free parking On-site parkingSchedule: Monday to FridayExperience: Commercial driving: 1 year (preferred) Manual handling: 1 year (preferred) Funeral Care: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: In personReference ID: C9F-FFS-B
