You'll play a vital role in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting across a diverse range of commercial and industrial premises. The Role As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you'll be a key part of our field service team, ensuring that life safety systems across our client base remain reliable, compliant, and effective. Your role will involve: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on fire alarm systems and emergency lighting. Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, repairs, and system upgrades. Work primarily across Sussex with occasional wider travel. Deliver a high level of customer service, building trusted relationships with clients. Ensure all systems comply with fire safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., BS 5839 & BS5266). Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records. What We're Looking For Proven experience working as a Fire Alarm Engineer. Strong technical knowledge of fire alarms, emergency lighting, and relevant compliance standards. Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving ability. Professional communication and organisational skills. Valid UK driving licence (maximum 6 points).
