The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a childrens nursery environment, ensuring that all areas are tidy, safe, and welcoming for clients and visitors. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Hours: Monday to Thursday 18:30 - 19:30 & Friday 18:30 - 20:30 6 hours a weekA valid DBS will be required*Duties** Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.* Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure a hygienic environment.* Remove waste and recycling from designated areas.* Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.* Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.* Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding cleaning schedules and special requests.*Skills** Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.* Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.* Proficiency in English to understand instructions and communicate clearly.* A valid driving licence is preferred for roles that may require travel between locations.* Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.We welcome applications from individuals who are committed to delivering exceptional service while maintaining a clean and safe environment.Due to this site requirment you will be required to have a valid DBSJob Type: Part-timePay: £12.50 per hourExpected hours: No more than 6 per weekExperience:* Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)Licence/Certification:* DBS (required)Work Location: In personExpected start date: 18/08/2025
