This role will see the successful candidate take control of three departments/profit centres, overseeing the day to day running of the operation and staff while offering exceptional customer service. Combined, this is the highest grossing sales branch in the network.Motest are a very successful independent garage group based in the Southeast with 18 branches, from Wiltshire to Kent, with Farnham the only branch with different departments. The role will see the successful candidate working closely with the Area Manager while taking full responsibility for the site. Vehicle Aftermarket management experience is essential.For the successful candidate. there is a £3000 signing on payment, paid in £1000 instalments over your first 3 months._*Salary expectations*_*:** *Salary: £55k to £60k per year/*** *Bonus Scheme: £10k to £25k per year** *On Target Earnings: £65k to £74k per year**/*includes 26 Saturdays pr yr**Role overview:*To oversee the efficient running of the garage and effective management of all staff. The unique opportunity at Farnham is the 3 different profit centres, comprising of;1: Motest ( all makes and models )2: Toyota ( franchise approved service centre – service/repair/ parts /warranty)3: JLR independent specialistThis exciting opportunity will see the new manager ensure the effective day to day running of the 3 profit centres, working closely with department heads and service mangers to provide an exceptional customer journey with each transaction. The role is also customer facing and will require full knowledge of all the operating systems and running of each different profit centre.Key objectives of the role are for the successful candidate are - to make sure the branch achieves targeted sales each month, overseeing the labour and MOT sales, effective management of the MOT scheme, overall staff management and motivation, oversee the efficient running of all three profit centres, including, staff performance and parts percentages, carrying out quarterly staff reviews, dealing with any staff or customer issues in a professional manner, liaising with head office, - all while offering exceptional customer service.The ideal candidate should be;- Able to manage staff & customer expectations successfully- Performance driven- Obsessed with delivering high standards of workmanship- Organised and understands processes- Effective at managing up & down an organisation- Good at site infrastructure management- Ideally mechanically knowledgeable & familiar with MOT scheme*Future plans*An exciting parts of this role is in the near future. Within the next 2 years the branch will be relocating under a mile away into a large freshly reconditioned unit where we get to decide the workshop and reception layouts.
