Weighbridge Operative Location: Kirkby Thore - CA10 1XU Shifts: 06:00 - 18:00 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Pay Rate: 13.27 per hour We are looking for a Weighbridge Operative to join our team working on the British Gypsum contract in Kirkby Thore. This role is rare temp to perm opportunity for someone who is looking to join a close-knit team on a long-term basis. Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. Key Responsibilities: Weigh in and out all vehicles, recording both weights ensuring there are no variances that are outside the tolerance. Ensure that all personnel entering site are authorised and have been inducted. Ensure that appropriate paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Understand and comply with all relevant company rules, agreements, policies, procedures and with all relevant legislative requirements and codes of practice. Act in a professional manner, ensure good working relationships are always maintained and promote a good image of the company As a Weighbridge Operative, you will be the very first face every visitor meets, because of this we are looking for someone with the following: Previous experience of working in a logistics environment preferred but not essential, full training will be given.
