Wood Machinist Northallerton area, 13.50-14.50 p/hr DOE, 39hrs per week, permanent, free parking, Wood Machinist required for a growing manufacturer in the Northallerton area. We are very interested to hear from candidates with previous wood working experience to work alongside highly skilled staff producing joinery products in a targeted production environment. You will be responsible for producing high quality, bespoke products in a busy workshop. The role: Working with a range of machinery including cross cut / rip & band saws, dimension saw, cabinet sanders, linishers, hot press, moulders, spindle moulders, edge sanders, & orbital sanders to make items bespoke to customer requirements Cutting raw materials to size Operating a counter balance forklift Working with hardwoods to produce high quality components Producing a range of furniture working to high quality standards Working in line with health 'safety standards The person: Will have confident experience and knowledge of woodworking, including woodworking machinery and tools, training will be given on company standards and processes Have previous experience of operating a counter balance forklift Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn Be reliable with a good record of attendance and time keeping Be professional, hard-working, and conscientious Ability to read and work to drawings Proven background in producing high quality components Call Sally at Travail Employment Group for an immediate interview Travail Employment Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
