Planner – Northampton £65,000 – £85,000 + Package Multi-disciplinary Main Contractor – Build & CivilsWe are working with a highly respected main contractor with a proven track record across both the building and civil engineering sectors. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Planner to join their team based in Northampton.The Role:You will play a key role in the planning function across a diverse portfolio of projects, supporting both tender and live works across building and civil engineering disciplines. This role requires someone who is highly organised, commercially aware, and able to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain detailed project programmes for both tender and live projectsWork collaboratively with project teams to ensure key deliverables are achieved on time and within budgetConduct site visits to assess progress and update schedules accordinglyProvide input into method statements, sequencing, and logistics planningMonitor critical path activities and identify potential risks or delaysAssist with resource and cost loading as requiredLiaise with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners as neededRequirements:Proven experience as a Planner within a main contracting environmentExperience working on both building and civil engineering projectsStrong working knowledge of planning software such as Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6Ability to interpret technical drawings and specificationsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive and collaborative approachWhat’s On Offer:Competitive salary of £65,000–£85,000 depending on experienceCar allowance or company vehiclePension, healthcare, and additional benefitsCareer progression in a stable and forward-thinking businessThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of varied and exciting projects across the region.To apply, please submit your CV or get in touch for a confidential discussion.
