The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, safely and on time whilst meeting quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of business processes, supply chain management, and continuous improvement methodologies. The Production Manager will lead a team of production staff, manage resources effectively, and implement strategies to enhance productivity, as well as ensuring meeting strict production deadlines*Responsibilities** Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.* Ensure that Production deadlines are adhered to* Develop and implement production schedules and workflows to optimise output.* Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials.* Manage stock control effectively* Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain product integrity.* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and reduce waste.* Provide training and support to production staff on best practices and safety protocols.* Collaborate with other departments to align production goals with overall business objectives.* Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance regularly.* Ensure that the parts ordering process is smooth, timely and effective*Skills** Strong knowledge of systems related to manufacturing processes.* Proficient in supply chain management principles and practices.* Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.* Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning software.* Understanding of business processes related to manufacturing operations.* Proven track record in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.* Experience in quality control measures within a production environment.* Ability to assemble products as needed, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.This position is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment while leading a dedicated team towards success.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £40,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:* Yearly bonusBenefits:* Company pension* Financial planning services* Free parking* On-site parking* Transport linksSchedule:* Monday to FridayExperience:* Production Scheduling: 2 years (required)* Production Management: 2 years (required)Work Location: In personApplication deadline: 23/07/2025
