Senior Account Director – Medical CommunicationsPosition: Senior Account DirectorLocation: Remote (applicants must be based in the UK)Contract Type: PermanentSalary: Up to £80kStart: ASAPSenior Account Director -This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Director or Senior Account Director to join a dynamic and fast-growing independent medical communications agency! As an experienced member of the client services team, you'll have the flexibility to shape your role around your strengths while playing a pivotal part in driving the continued success and growth of the division.The Senior Account Director plays a crucial role within the company. You will bring exceptional account management skills and the ability to deliver strategic direction, ensuring impactful results. Managing various projects on busy global accounts, while staying highly organised and proactive to meet client needs. They are dedicated to supporting career development and providing opportunities for advancement that align with and enhance each team member’s strengths.Role & Responsibilities:Has a thorough level of understanding of the medical communication and education environment, the healthcare community and the role of pharmaceutical companies in the provision of healthcare servicesClient liaison and consulting on the strategic direction of accounts under your remit, gaining the respect and trust of the clientsWorking closely with clients and healthcare professionals to understand their needs and translate these into opportunities for developing high-quality medical communication solutionsDeveloping an understanding of new therapy areas quickly and comprehensively, inspiring confidence in clientsContributes and oversees the development, management, logistics and content of a range of medical communications projectsShows thoroughness in developing tactical plans, including budgets and timelinesMaintain a strategic overview of account(s), proactively advise clients on new issues/external environment and contribute to strategic planning meetings with clientLeading new business initiatives, including attendance and presentation at pitch meetingsHelp drive new business development.
