About the Role As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in leading shifts, supporting staff, and ensuring the needs of the children are met in line with their care plans. You will be a positive role model, helping young people develop life skills, resilience, and independence in a safe and nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the team during shifts, ensuring high standards of care. Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people. Support the development and delivery of personalised care plans. Oversee daily routines, activities, and household tasks. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies. Participate in the on-call rota and ad hoc sleep-ins. Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Childrens Residential Care (or equivalent qualification). Previous experience working in a childrens home is essential. Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
