Role: Welder Job Type : Full-time Hours: 37 hours per week Monday - Thursday - Day shifts Hourly rate - 17p/hr Key Responsibilities: Perform MIG welding on various components and structures according to specifications. Work on the production welding line to ensure all products meet BS EN ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. Conduct quality checks to ensure welds meet industry and company standards. Collaborate with a team of professionals to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Always adhere to health and safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE and promotion of good housekeeping. Assist team leaders with recovery programs and promote positive communication and teamwork. Follow all company policies, procedures, and attendance expectations. Requirements: Proven experience as a MIG Welder, ideally within a similar industry. Proficiency in MIG and MAG welding techniques and equipment operation. Experience in medium-heavy fabrication of steel construction and welding (2mm to 10mm). Welding/fabrication qualifications. Ability to build and tack weld from engineering drawings. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Desirable: Welding approval certificates.
