Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit Class 1 night Drivers on behalf of our client to join their team in Hartlepool, Seaham, Middlesbrough and other areas Hours of work: 17.00 - 20.00 start times Salary: 16.00 per hour The Role: Tramping General Haulage Night Trunks 8 hour shifts guaranteed Ongoing position for the right candidate Long distance and local delivery of goods Delivering to depots throughout the country Duties/Responsibilities: Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures. Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures. To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner. To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift. Essential Skills: Must hold a valid HGV 1 / Cat C+E licence for a minimum of 6 months. Must have at least 60 days worth of driving showing on digital tacho card. Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card. Must hold a valid Digital tacho card. No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations. No DRs, INs or DDs offence codes due to insurance stipulations. TPBN1_UKTJ
