Job Description

To grow Stryker's Joint Replacement business by promoting Hip and Knee products to Orthopaedic Surgeons and optimizing customer service, growing existing accounts through technical expertise. The Product Support Specialist – Manual & Robotic provides clinical product support to end users along with guidance and assistance during Mako surgical procedures. This role is unique in that we are looking for a candidate who can offer flexibility and mobility to support multiple territories over two regions for the first 12 months. Thereafter, the candidate will consolidate time and effort across one team and region. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Demonstrates outstanding ethics, treats customers and employees with respect, and represents the company positively. Communicates essential benefits of products and their clinical applications. Acts with integrity and delivers on commitments within required timescales. Constructs a basic business plan with input from mentor/manager; plans daily, weekly, and monthly activities in partnership with mentor and RSM. Develops rapport and understands the importance of relationships in selling; uses open questioning techniques to ascertain customer needs; maintains good knowledge of key brands to identify sales opportunities. Identifies stakeholders in decision-making processes and asks appropriate questions to address their needs. Works under close supervision, with specific directions from experienced staff; keeps supervisor informed on work status; achieves results that typically do not significantly impact revenue or budget. Achieves sales targets and KPIs, plans and prioritizes activities, and supports existing and growing customer base. Supports and maintains customer satisfaction and collaborates with the sales team and other departments. Develops strategies with customers to strengthen Stryker's position; communicates effectively to ensure profitable relationships. Monitors market conditions and addresses challenges with customers, developing solutions with team support. Participates in organizational meetings to discuss business issues and enhance skills. Manages customer data using IT-based CRM tools. Clinical/Technical Expertise:Provides front-line clinical and technical support during surgical procedures. Trains surgeons and staff in the use of Stryker’s Mako robot, including setup, intra-operative activities, and troubleshooting. Prepares pre-operative CT scans and assists in implant planning and sizing. Resolves technical issues independently or escalates as needed; collaborates with Field Service team for maintenance. Builds knowledge of implants, instrumentation, and robotic applications; educates staff on clinical benefits and best practices. Completes necessary training and certification for robotic and manual procedures, including complex cases. Key Talents / Skills:Excellent communication skills in English.
