DBR Group, acting as a Recruitment Business, are recruiting for an experienced HGV 1 Driver to work at our client who are a household name in the Driving Industry, in Rochdale, Manchester. Our client is one of the UKs leading providers of logistical support and warehousing to time critical businesses. The professional team operates from more than seven sites across the country and, with 80 plus vehicles in its fleet, supports a nationwide client base. The company employs experienced transport professionals to manage the logistics as well as bespoke and purpose-built technologies to ensure it meets client expectations every time. This professional approach along with fully trained and qualified drivers has helped them achieve Just in Time supplier status for time critical manufacturing businesses. This role is a temporary position. Duties: Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently Up to 1 to 5 drops Adhere to all road traffic laws and regulations Smart appearance, willing to learn and be trained up Full training will be provided Excellent tacho knowledge ref sound manual entry and driving hours compliance Requirements: Current CPC Licence . Current Digital Tachograph Licence An effective team member who works well on their own initiative Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work Self-motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable Excellent timekeeping and communication skills Hours: Days & Nights - Monday to Friday (possible weekend work) Remuneration: 16.00 per hour Days 17.00 per hour Nights Working for an agency can be a beneficial way of having a flexible working arrangement, giving you the freedom to enjoy a better work/life balance.
