Maintenance Engineer - Night Shift | St Helens, Merseyside ?? Location : Alexandra Warehouse, WA10 3LR ?? Hours : 10-hour night shifts, 5 nights a week (20:00-06:00, 1-hour unpaid break) ?? As a Maintenance Engineer , you'll play a vital role in keeping essential systems running smoothly and identifying improvements that reduce downtime and enhance performance. ?? Key Responsibilities Perform nightly engineering checks (fire-watch, guard checks, machine checks, emergency stops) Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on systems and machinery including conveyors, crushers, optical sorters, and motors Respond to breakdowns and complete work orders Report defects and suggest process improvements to reduce downtime ??
