(CAMISH). Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity to work in CNWL Sexual Health service as a HCSW/customer care officer with the Camden and Islington Young People’s Sexual Health network. (CAMISH).CAMISH is a partnership between Brook and Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) Sexual Health ServicesCAMISH is a free and confidential sexual health and wellbeing service for people aged 24 and under in Camden and Islington. Services include STI testing and treatment, contraception and emergency contraception, condoms, pregnancy testing and wellbeing support.This post is for a Band 3 HCSW/CCO to work with the CNWL team at the Archway site and on outreach.Evenings and some weekends will be required.We offer a supportive, friendly environment, which is both challenging and rewarding. We have a genuine and active commitment to education and staff professional development. Please apply as soon as possible.Main duties of the jobFor the position you will be:-A highly motivated individual Demonstrate an active interest in Sexual and Reproductive Health You will have a non-judgmental approach to sexual health and reproductive health. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills Have the ability to work within a team Computer literate – full training will be given for our computer systemWorking for our organisationThe role of CCO/HCSW includes direct patient contact with individuals who may be presenting with highly sensitive sexual health issues; we need staff to support these individuals in a caring, sensitive and non-judgmental way, always maintaining their confidentiality. As well as registering patients to our clinical system and helping patients book appointments, you will work alongside the administration & clinical teams ensuring all scanning, filing and other administrative duties are carried out as well as chaperoning, venepuncture & other duties in the clinic as required.This role to be maintained both in the clinic environment and whilst on outreach.For further details / informal visits contact:Izabella Evansizabella.evans@Please note there are new visa changes in place from 9th April 2025, the eligibility for a sponsorship has changed.
