UK Technology CIO, Commercial Banking, IT estate, Tech assetsA leading provider of financial services is seeking a proven and dedicated UK Technology CIO with a strong background in IT Solutions/Systems within a commercial banking environment.The role has functional oversight of 400 indirect full-time employees and oversight of the CMB UK Payments team, which supports customer and product capabilities within the UK.The role:Define, develop, and implement strategies to solve complex problems using modern technology platforms.Build and lead an engineering team that delivers results across multiple functions and geographies.Manage the full lifecycle of UK DBB Web Channels, Mobile, and Kinetic, including design, build quality, and uptime metrics.Support compliance with SMR accountabilities related to the Technology Control Environment.Assist the UK Regulatory team with reporting on technology strategy, resilience, and incidents.Deliver a digital-first operating plan to improve customer journeys and introduce new features.Provide thought leadership and innovative solutions to complex problems.Manage budgets for new services and support existing services, optimizing costs and resources.Lead global teams in data processing, development, testing, and support.Promote technology sharing and operational efficiency.Report to senior management on technological positioning and industry standards.Develop and manage a high-performing global team with effective communication and recognition practices.Manage multiple applications within tight budgets and timeframes.Skills:Proven leadership in financial services technology, with ability to influence global teams.Strong operational effectiveness and data-driven decision making.Experience in process reengineering, efficiency exercises, and change management.Deep understanding of financial products, services, and processes.Strong commercial acumen to balance risks and rewards.Excellent leadership, teamwork, analytical, and communication skills.Cultural sensitivity and experience working across regions.Knowledge of cloud computing, service level management, incident and change management.Experience with automation tools, DevSecOps practices, and related technologies.McGregor Boyall is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on any grounds.#J-18808-Ljbffr
