About the role In this role, you will lead product management initiatives across the organization, guiding new product development from concept through launch. You’ll participate in analytical and testing efforts, coordinate all phases of development—including research, design, pricing, marketing, and distribution—and work closely with customers to identify needs and shape effective solutions. Acting as a central point for product ideas, you’ll influence key team members to unlock commercial opportunities. You’ll also conduct market research, analyze trends, and prepare forecasts and profitability assessments to support strategic decision-making. What you will do Lead Financial and Statistical teams in defining product features and interpreting local financial regulations, translating these into Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specification Documents (FSDs). Analyze and optimize existing business processes and operational paradigms, ensuring requirements reflect improvements and align with user needs. Collaborate with Application Development and Quality Assurance teams to ensure functional goals are met and comprehensive test scenarios are created. Monitor regulatory updates and industry trends to maintain Adenza’s leadership in data management, risk, and regulatory reporting. Support sales, pre-sales, and marketing initiatives with subject matter expertise, contributing to content creation and thought leadership. Work closely with the Product Manager on roadmap planning and ensure efficient operations within the business analysis team. What you will need Strong knowledge in regulatory reporting and banking products (e.g., bonds, loans, derivatives, repos). Proven years of experience as a business analyst in financial services or regulatory/compliance roles. Team leadership experience in product development or project settings. Strong communication skills for conveying complex ideas clearly. Determined and organized, with the ability to manage deadlines independently. Collaborative approach, working effectively across teams. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Nice to have Degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; postgraduate studies in a relevant field are a plus.
