Ecommerce Director – Manufacturer & Distribution Company - £80-105k – Hybrid (3-4 days, Worcestershire)We are recruiting a Managing Director (eCommerce Director) for a well-established company in the manufacturing and distribution sector, now expanding into the retail and eCommerce space. The Managing Director will oversee their entire ecommerce operations across multiple branded websites and online marketplaces. This is a full-time, permanent role based 3-4 days per week in their Worcestershire office. This role reports into the CEO.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and optimise multiple branded ecommerce websites, including integrations with online marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, Tesco, and moreManage product listings, pricing strategies, inventory, and promotionalDevelop and execute a comprehensive digital commerce strategy aligned with company goalsSet and achieve ambitious revenue targets and growth plans for ecommerce websites and marketplace channelsIdentify new sales channels, partnerships, and marketplace opportunities to diversify revenue streamscampaigns across all platformsDirect and optimise digital marketing efforts, including SEO, PPC, email, social media, and retargetingLead and mentor cross-functional teams in marketing, sales, web development, operations, and customer serviceManage ecommerce budgets, pricing policies, and vendor relationshipsRequired Experience:Proven senior leadership experience managing ecommerce businesses with multiple websites and marketplace channelsStrong knowledge of ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) and marketplace dynamicsExperience in digital marketing strategy (SEO, SEM, paid media, customer acquisition)Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projectsExcellent analytical and decision-making skills, with a strong focus on ROIThis client cannot offer visa sponsorship.
