Associate Legal Counsel What It’s All About – The Role and Key ResponsibilitiesThe Role:As a result of continued success across our Industrial, Multi-Room and Civils and Infrastructure sectors, we are looking to recruit a lawyer that can bring a passion and drive to continue the Winvic story of success. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people to solve problems in a pragmatic, approachable and commercial way.You will be working as part of a small legal team to support Winvic Construction Limited (and the wider Group) to deliver significant and challenging construction and engineering projects throughout the UK. This is an opportunity to shape and influence the way legal services are offered across the Winvic group of companies.Our Head Office is in Northampton and our projects are spread across England and Wales.Key Responsibilities:Reviewing and negotiating commercial agreementsCreating template documents and policiesOffering advice and assistance to project teamsGuiding the business to effectively manage risks and avoid disputesDevising and implementing processes to assist projects and mitigate risksManaging, progressing and concluding claims (including insurance claims)Instructing and working with external legal firms and lawyersDelivering legal training to commercial, design and operational teams; and to the wider businessExperience & QualificationsYou will be 1 – 4 years PQE and interested in starting (or continuing) an in-house career.
