Job Title: Assembly Operative Location: On-site (79B Finvoy Road, Ballymoney BT5379B) Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 40 Hours a week Rate of Pay: £13.50 per hour We are seeking a motivated and reliable Assembly Operator to join our dynamic team in Ballymoney. Full training will be provided making this an ideal role for someone looking to build a career in production. Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is a plus. The candidate will be responsible for assembling products efficiently, ensuring that all components meet quality standards. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. About The Role Responsibilities Assemble components and products using hand tools and power tools according to specifications Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations Collaborate with team members to optimise assembly processes and improve efficiency Report any defects or issues with materials or equipment to the supervisor promptly Assist in inventory management by keeping track of materials used during the assembly process Required Criteria Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand assembly instructions Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude Basic literacy and numeracy Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Desired Criteria Proven experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or schematics Familiarity with inventory tracking or stock control systems Understanding of health and safety practices in a production setting Skills Needed Reporting & Communication, Ability to Identify and Anticipate needs, Attention to detail, Developing Self Salary £13.50 per hour Skills: Reporting & Communication Ability to Identify and A Attention to detail Developing Self Benefits: Vacation, Paid time off Retirement plan and/or pension Flexible schedule Competitive salary
