We are proud to be partnering a leading provider in building fire safety compliance and technical services to organisations across the UK, who are looking to appoint a Fire Door Surveyor on a five-week contract.This will be a position predominantly based in London and occasionally in Surrey with the rate being £10 per flat door, £4 per communal door & £4 per no access. The expectation being to complete circa 50 per day.The ideal candidate will have a FDIS (Fire Door Inspection Scheme) accreditation & multiple years’ experience.Duties will include (but are not limited to):Conducting Fire Door Surveys within social housing & properties to ensure compliance with fire safety standardsInspecting fire doors to assess the conditions of the doors & identify potential risksNoting potential issues for repairs & maintenance to ensure fire doors are constructed properlyMaintaining accurate survey records and findingsExperience required:Over two years’ experience within fire surveyingIdeally hold a FDIS accreditationRewards and Benefits:Work scheduled by back office teamMinimal travel between surveysWorking hours:Flexible hoursPlease note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
