We offer competitive salaries, ongoing training, new vehicles and equipment, and a focus on balance and development rather than commission-based targets.What we offer:£40,000 – £45,000 salary (flexible for exceptional candidates)Company car24 days’ annual leave + bank holidays5% company pensionSupportive team culture and strong company valuesKey responsibilities:Produce accurate and compliant fire and security system designs and estimates, aligned with relevant British Standards and project requirementsPrepare clear technical and commercial documentation, including drawings, specifications, and quotationsProvide technical input and support to engineers to ensure smooth project delivery and consistency with design specificationsProvide technical support and guidance to engineers throughout project deliveryEnsure timely delivery of estimates and proposals to support client requirements and deadlinesCollaborate with engineers, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth project handover and deliveryUtilise design and estimating software effectively (Uptick experience preferred)Maintain high levels of technical accuracy and commercial awareness across all designs and submissionsWhat we’re looking for:Excellent technical knowledge of relevant British Standards for fire and security systemsRelevant qualifications (FIA Advanced Designer preferred)Proven ability to deliver accurate estimates within agreed timeframesStrong communication skills for liaising with clients, engineers, and suppliersProficiency in design and estimating software (Uptick experience desirable)Ideally based in Cumbria or Lancashire, though Manchester and further afield may be considered, with a willingness to travelRemote working may be considered for the right candidateFull UK driving licence and the unrestricted right to work in the UKIf you’re seeking to join a values-led, quality-focused organisation and take on a key technical role in our next phase of growth, we’d welcome your application.To apply, send your CV and a brief cover note to
