Job Title: Utility Consultant Location: South Wales/Remote workingSalary: £50,000-70,000 (DOE)As the Utility Consultant you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive utility solutions to our clients, ranging from initial feasibility studies to final connections and metering. This position requires a deep understanding of the utilities sector and the ability to manage complex projects across multiple disciplines.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage utility connection projects, focusing on electricity, gas, and water servicesProvide expert consultancy to clients on utility infrastructure requirements and solutionsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and utility companiesOversee project teams, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards and regulationsConduct technical due diligence and feasibility studies for utility connectionsContribute to business development activities and proposal writingStay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in the utility sector.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical EngineeringMinimum of 5 years of experience in the utilities sector, with a focus on connections and infrastructure projectsIn-depth knowledge of UK utility regulations and standardsStrong project management skills with a track record of successful project deliveryExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in relevant software tools and CAD applicationsPersonal AttributeForward thinking and ambitious.Proactive and innovative approach to problem-solvingHigh level of professionalism.Strong project management skills, excellent communication.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
