A friendly and inclusive primary school in Bolton is seeking a dedicated EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This role offers a rewarding chance to work closely with children who require extra support, helping them thrive socially, emotionally, and academically right from the start. As an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:Provide tailored support to children with special educational needs in Nursery and Reception Work 1:1 or in small groups to support social, emotional, communication, and learning development Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement personalised learning plans Assist with adapting resources and activities to meet individual needs Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where all children can flourish Requirements: Experience supporting young children with SEN in an early years setting Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and SEN strategies Patience, empathy, and a warm, nurturing approach Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team DBS on the update service or willingness to apply Bonus if you have: Early Years SEN training or relevant qualifications (CACHE Level 3 SEN, or equivalent) Knowledge of Makaton, PECs, or other communication tools Experience working with children with autism, speech & language needs, or SEMH#J-18808-Ljbffr
