Operations Director | Luxury Elderly & Dementia Care ProviderNottinghamshire – Covering 5 ServicesPackage: Salary from £90,000 per annum + Bonus + additional benefitsWe are working with a highly regarded, family-owned care provider seeking a Operations Director to oversee a cluster of five homes delivering luxury elderly and dementia care across Nottinghamshire. The portfolio includes well-established nursing services, specialist dementia care, and a recently redeveloped flagship home following significant multi-million-pound investment.This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned operational leader with a clinical background (RGN or RMN preferred) to join a provider with a reputation for quality, innovation, and growth. The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and play a key role in shaping regional performance, culture, and care outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Oversee five homes, with a remit that includes elderly nursing and specialist dementia servicesProvide leadership, mentorship, and accountability for Home ManagersDrive quality improvements across the region, ensuring CQC compliance and governance standardsImprove and maintain occupancy and financial performance across the homesLead turnaround and commissioning efforts where requiredDevelop effective stakeholder relationships with local authorities, ICS partners, and regulatorsProvide concise and timely updates to the Managing Director on performance, sector trends, and operational activityChampion a culture of transparency, collaboration, and clinical excellenceThe Ideal Candidate:Experience as a Regional Manager / Regional Director in elderly or dementia careBackground in managing managers and delivering results across multiple sitesStrong commercial understanding, with proven ability to improve occupancy and drive financial performanceExcellent understanding of CQC standards and quality governance frameworksA visible and hands-on leadership style with the ability to build trust with operational teamsIdeally RGN or RMN qualified with experience in nursing and dementia care (complex care experience also considered)Track record in turnaround, commissioning, and stakeholder managementBased within an hour’s commute of NottinghamshireIf you're a confident and commercially minded operator with a background in elderly care and a passion for quality, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact in a respected and luxurious growing care group.The role covers a diverse and well-invested group of five homes, including:Large, established nursing services with strong occupancySmaller specialist dementia servicesA flagship luxury home recently redeveloped with significant capital investmentLocationThe homes within this portfolio are commutable from the following locations: Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Loughborough, Mansfield, Chesterfield, Newark-on-Trent, Grantham, Lincoln, Burton upon Trent, Ilkeston, Beeston, West Bridgford, Melton Mowbray, Worksop and surrounding areas.SummaryOur client is seeking a Operations Director for a luxury elderly and dementia care provider based across Nottinghamshire.
