Clinicians in the Emergency Department treat patients with life threatening, urgent and emergency conditions along with illnesses and injuries in all age groups.The Emergency Department at UCLH cared for 148,000 patients last year, making it one of the busiest Emergency Departments in London. Over 74,000 of these patients were treated in the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC).With an increasing demand for urgent and emergency care we are seeking to expand and develop our Emergency Nurse Practitioner workforce and would welcome applications from Emergency Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Paramedic Practitioners and Advanced Clinical Practitioners to join our clinical team in the Urgent Treatment Centre.As a clinician within the Urgent Treatment Centre you will work as an independent, autonomous practitioner providing consistent high quality, evidence based, timely, patient centred care. Responsible for utilising expert diagnostic and clinical skills to provide autonomous, unscheduled medical care and management of a diverse range of patients with acute undifferentiated and undiagnosed illnesses and injuries.University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) is one of the most complex NHS trusts in the UK, serving a large and diverse population.
