About Stonewall Housing Stonewall Housing is the UK’s leading LGBTQ+ homelessness charity. For over 40 years, we’ve been supporting LGBTQ+ people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or living in unsafe environments. We provide housing advice, advocacy, and safe accommodation and we raise awareness of the issues our communities face. The Role We’re looking for a creative TikTok Content Creator to volunteer with us and help grow our presence on the platform. This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills to amplify LGBTQ+ voices, raise awareness of housing issues and engage new audiences. You’ll work closely with our communications team, either following briefs or taking creative liberty to come up with your own ideas. From jumping on trends to telling powerful stories, you’ll help us share content that really resonates. What You’ll Do Create and film TikTok videos for Stonewall Housing’s channel. Respond to briefs from our team or use your own creativity to develop content ideas. Keep on top of TikTok trends and adapt them to highlight our mission. Work with us to make sure all content is sensitive, inclusive and on-brand. Suggest ways we can grow our audience and reach more people. What We’re Looking For Experience creating TikTok content (personal, professional or volunteer). Strong understanding of TikTok’s trends, features and best practices. A creative approach to storytelling and short-form video. Confidence filming and editing content on a smartphone or using editing apps. Ability to work independently, while also open to collaboration and feedback. Time Commitment Flexible hours to fit around your schedule. Around 8 hours per month (roughly 2 hours a week).
