Job Description

In accordance with objectives set by the Pharmacy Manager and the Chief Technician, the post holder will act as a link between patients, their carers and/or representatives, medical staff, visitors to the Pharmacy Department, and Royal Free London Pharmacy staff. They will take prescriptions, handle financial transactions, and safely dispense medicines. The post holder must behave in a sensitive manner that ensures patient confidentiality at all times.Main duties of the job The post holder should behave professionally, positively, politely, and confidentially, representing the department. They are expected to maintain high standards and orderly working methods. The post holder is accountable for their actions and should be aware of the dispensary's needs, responding proactively. They may need to direct or accompany visitors within the department. Compliance with the company dress code is required. The role involves participating in service rosters, including weekdays, late shifts, weekends, and bank holidays at Royal Free London Pharmacy sites.
