You will also be expected to work at any of the SWLP sites as and when required.The Biomedical Scientist role requires motivated HCPC registered Biomedical Scientists who would like to gain post registration multidisciplinary experience within clinical blood sciences.You will be given the opportunity to complete the IBMS specialist diploma.Main duties of the jobTo be an efficient and flexible member of the SWL Pathology team providing a consistently high quality and professional service to all users of the service. Able to perform all core scientific and interpretive work, which corresponds to the training and qualifications of a Registered Biomedical Scientist. You will be required to rotate in biochemistry, haematology and blood transfusion departments of the laboratory. Full training would be provided Contribute to providing a professional clinical laboratory service, working effectively as a team member as part of the overall department. Provide clinical technical services to patients that may include research and audit samples. The Biochemistry Laboratory is equipped with Beckman AU5812, DxI 9000 and DXA 5000 track for pre and post analytic automation.
