Job Responsibilities Manage medical writing staff, including salary, hiring, performance, and professional development. Review and edit departmental work for quality and accuracy. Ensure adherence to Sponsor objectives and quality standards. Support document development strategies and quarterly updates. Assist with budgeting, timelines, revenue, invoicing, and forecasting for projects. Track and review project metrics. Support business development through proposals, bids, and customer meetings. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers. Lead cross-functional teams and address arising issues. Review performance of medical writing personnel. Develop and maintain SOPs and templates. Participate in writing and reviewing medical deliverables, including statistical analysis plans. Perform additional duties as assigned; minimal travel may be required (up to 25%). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with relevant scientific or medical knowledge. Experience in medical writing with management experience, preferably in a CRO or pharmaceutical/medical device company. Extensive knowledge of English grammar, FDA, ICH regulations, and guidelines. Knowledge of clinical research principles and good communication skills. Leadership and team-oriented skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills.
