As a Loan Asset Management Associate Director in our Investment Management team, your mission is to bring clarity and structure to that complexity. You’ll work with some of the most sophisticated commercial real estate clients in the industry, helping them solve challenges in loan reporting, data management, and portfolio analytics. Leveraging our proprietary technology platform, you’ll transform unstructured loan terms into structured, reliable data – enabling streamlined reporting, sharper analytics, and clearer visibility into portfolio performance. You’ll become a trusted partner in helping clients proactively manage their loan portfolios and make more confident, informed decisions. In this role you will: Lead the onboarding of new clients by translating scattered loan data into structured, actionable models in Chatham’s proprietary technology. Design and implement bespoke workflows to track covenant test results, loan reporting, and portfolio analytics. Monitor client portfolios for changes like paydowns, drawdowns, and refinancings – and ensure data stays accurate and up to date. Prepare dashboards that display key risks, upcoming maturities, and performance trends. Build strong relationships with clients through regular calls and proactive insights. Collaborate with our technology team to enhance Chatham’s technology offering based on client feedback and evolving market needs. Train and mentor new team members to ensure consistency and excellence in delivery. You’re leading client conversations, anticipating needs, and shaping the evolution of our platform through feedback and collaboration. Contributors to your success: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, real estate, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in real estate finance, asset management, loan servicing, or real estate transaction law. Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and extract key data from various types of real estate source documents. Exposure to commercial real estate loans, with an understanding of their structure, terminology, and financial covenants. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas and information to clients, team members, and other stakeholders. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and maintain complex financial models, analyse data and present insights.
