What You'll Be DoingThis role offers an exciting opportunity to join the Commercial Team, responsible for managing and developing basket product risk for Shell Energy UK. Reporting to the Forecasting and Structuring Manager, you should be a self-motivated, responsible individual capable of performing under pressure. The role supports our growth ambitions in the B2B sector, aligned with our 10-year strategic plan. You will leverage your expertise in product design to improve risk management practices that benefit our business customers. More Specific Responsibilities IncludeDevelop and maintain Shell Energy UK's basket product risk strategy and procedures, aligned with Market Risk, Regulation, and Legal guidelines. Provide insights into portfolio performance and risk outcomes, offering targeted recommendations. Participate in Industrial & Commercial customer meetings to gather information and inform product recommendations. Offer risk insights to shape risk policy and strategy, proposing innovative solutions. Communicate basket product mechanics and risks to relevant teams to ensure understanding of impacts. Manage contractual risk clauses and support negotiations for complex deals. Lead in structuring basket energy product offers, collaborating with sales, supply, market risk, legal, and finance teams, and presenting to senior management. What You BringWe seek candidates with experience in basket product management or development, preferably within the energy industry working with large corporate flex baskets. Additional SkillsStrong understanding of basket energy product structures and risk mitigation, both contractual and analytical. Advanced IT skills, familiar with risk modeling and best practices, with high attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Degree or professional qualification relevant to the field. Self-motivated, highly organized, responsible, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
