About the role:Step into the Product Owner role and help shape game-changing solutions for a major global client across web and native apps at Monks. Acting as the bridge between vision and execution, you’ll set priorities, guide the backlog, and ensure every release delivers meaningful impact. Responsibilities:Supervise, advise, and communicate effectively with the scrum team to meet product expectations Key point of contact for local client teams: you understand business KPIs and drive meetings, overall communications, and successful client relationships. You are the first point of contact for the client. You'll live and breathe the product, owning the backlog and prioritising work for the Sprint team A first contact for any new feature development, aligning on solutions across Monks' design and development teams, along with the client and a vast vendor community You'll own product feature specifications, working alongside the design and technical leads to ensure everything is in place before development starts Manage a growing backlog Promotes and leads a culture of innovation and experimentation, with the freedom to iterate and develop ideas You'll work into the Associate Product Director, helping to input into the wider roadmap, planning, and scoping upcoming work Lead team scrums to define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project Collaborate with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align the product roadmap to strategic goals Work closely with product managers and business teams to create and maintain product backlog according to business value or ROI Stay up to date on trends and best practices for agile project management About YouThe essentials:3+ years of experience in coordinating website development working as a Product Owner or Technical Project Manager Clear understanding of web development and software development life cycles Experience working with agile methodologies Managing demanding clients and high complexity situations comes naturally to you.
