Long Term Driving Opportunity Class 2 Driver is required for our client based in the Medway Towns to deliver construction materials within Central London. This role is available from mid August and is temporary, but has the potential of long term work for the right candidate, or even permanent after a qualification period. The working week is Monday to Friday starting between 05:00 - 06:00 hours and will involve working every second Saturday. (Saturday work is optional) The role: Driving a Class 2 flatbed to deliver construction materials within Central London and the surrounding areas, so excellent geographical knowledge and roadcraft is essential for this position. This position is a driving role only but will involve some assisting loading the vehicle and restraining of products. Immediate start available for the successful candidate Monday to Friday starting between 05:00am - 06:00am This can involve working every second Saturday (Optional) A successful candidate will have: A full class 2 licence A valid Digital Tachograph and CPC Card Due to insurances a successful candidate must have 2 years LGV 2 Driving experience, be 30 years of age+ and have no more than 3 points or have a DD or DR The rate of pay for this role: Monday to Friday = 15.50 per hour Saturday = 20.00 per hour Sunday = 21.00 per hour Minimum 9 hours per shift Payment is weekly through PAYE.
