My client, a leading international law firm, is seeking an experienced Medical Negligence Solicitor to join its Leeds team on a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover). For the right candidate, there may be scope for a permanent role at the end of the contract. Responsibilities The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of high-value and complex cases, including: Managing a caseload of serious injury and medical negligence matters Drafting legal documents, statements, and reports Liaising with clients, experts, and Counsel Attending hearings and managing litigation proceedings Supervising and supporting junior team members Contributing to business development and knowledge sharing within the department What are they looking for? At least 8 years PQE in medical negligence or serious injury litigation Strong track record in handling complex and high-value cases Excellent client care and communication skills, with the ability to support vulnerable clients and their families Leadership and supervisory experience Commercial awareness and the ability to contribute to business development Strong organisational and financial management skills What is on offer?
