Job Description

Our client, a respected civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on major infrastructure projects and contribute to the winning of high-profile contracts.In this role, youll be responsible for all pre-construction estimating activities, from early cost planning through to tender submission. Youll collaborate with clients, designers, and the supply chain to ensure bids are competitive, accurate, and fully compliant.Key responsibilities:Producing detailed estimates and cost plans from concept to completionLeading estimating input on design & build tendersLiaising with supply chain partners to inform programme, cost, and methodologyReviewing tender documentation and identifying risks and opportunitiesAttending client meetings, site visits, and supporting negotiationsHanding over successful tenders to delivery teams with clear assumptions and allowancesWere looking for someone with:Significant civil engineering estimating experience (ideally on 50m+ projects)Strong communication and numeracy skillsRelevant site experience; marine piling knowledge advantageous but not essentialThis is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.If youre ready to take the next step in your estimating career, apply today to discuss this opportunity in confidence.Aldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality.
