The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing excellent service while ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to navigate various routes efficiently.What We Offer:Van, fuel, and insurance provided no upfront costsCompetitive daily rates: up to130 per daywith potential for performance-related bonusesRegular, pre-planned routes (no sortation all parcels pre-sequenced and pre-mapped)All deliveries within a50-mile radiusof the depotTraining and development providedOpportunities for progressionBranded van and uniform suppliedRole Responsibilities:Load and unload your van at the depotComplete your route within a 9-hour shift (from depot departure to return).Safely Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required.Follow efficient routes to deliver parcels safely, on time, and efficientlyMaintain a high level of customer service at all timesSafely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.Conduct daily routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability.Deliver parcels to residential and business addresses using a provided van.Follow the set route sequence on the driver app.Manage 120200 stops per day depending on route.Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues.Requirements:Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)Aged 23+ for insurance purposesProof of right to work in the UKGood communication skills and professional outlookReliable, punctual, and able to work independentlyAble to pass background checks and drug & alcohol testingJob Type:Self-employed contractShifts: Up to 5 days per week, approx. 10 hours per daySkillsPrevious experience as a delivery driver is essential.Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles is advantageous.Familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred.Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.Excellent time management skills to ensure punctual deliveries.
