Our client is looking for experienced Mini Bus Drivers on a term time only basis, working on a split shift route with varying times. The working patterns are anything between 7am and 9am and 2pm to 4.30pm approximately A D1 is required on your driving licence for this role Must hold an enhanced DBS with child and adult barred list on the Update system or be willing to have one processed Key areas of responsibility Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the Children travelling between Home and School/Colleges Support the Passenger Assistant in ensuring the safe operation of doors, ramps, steps, and lifts that provide access to the vehicle and ensure that seatbelts and safety equipment such as wheelchair restraints are properly used Ensure that Children disembark the vehicle safely and are properly handed over to the care of a member of school or College staff or responsible adult Following procedures and reporting any incidents to the client In the event of a medical emergency ensure the safety and wellbeing of the passengers by contacting the Emergency Services and informing them of the passengers condition, including responding to medical advice provided. Ensure in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations that sensitive personal information is treated as private and confidential and corresponding paperwork is kept safe.
