HGV Class 1 Driver ReadingWe are looking for skilled and dependable HGV Class 1 driver for multiple roles based in and around Reading for PM Shifts.Requirements:Valid UK Driving LicenceCPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)Digital Tachograph CardPunctual, reliable, and safety-consciousPrevious experience driving Class 1 HGVs safely and efficientlyKey Responsibilities:Confidently operate Class 1 vehicles.Moving Class 1 vehicles in and around the yard, being confident with reversing.Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle checks, including tyres, fluids, safety features, and control systems in line with company standardsReport any maintenance or safety concerns using company documentationAdhere to assigned delivery routes and instructions, maintaining communication with dispatch as neededSome general warehouse duties when quiet, helping to keep yard tidy.Driving vehicles on to MOT Ramp.Follow all health and safety procedures without exceptionPotential ongoing position for the right candidate, based on performance and attendance.Working Patterns:Ongoing assignmentsPM Shift- 18:00PM start to 06:00AM finish.Should be available to commit to 12 hours shifts.Monday to Friday.Rates of Pay:22.00 per hour dependent on role offered (Inclusive of holiday pay)JBRP1_UKTJ
