A Scheme Manager's job is varied and no two days are the same! You'll support our residents at Clevedown, our peaceful sheltered housing scheme in Lewes. Clevedown has beautiful gardens much enjoyed by our residentsResponsibilities include:Dealing with day to day enquires relating to the schemesSupporting residents to live independently and working with external agencies to make sure residents get access to the right servicesEnsuring the scheme is safe and all health and safety checks are carries out in line with policies and proceduresMonitoring budgets and service charge accounts and making sure residents' homes are well maintained and repairs completed to a high standardTaking ownership and fully investigating any complaints received including anti social behaviourMonitoring cleaning, gardening and other contractors' performance when on site, ensuring that works are completed to a satisfactory standardCandidate RequirementsCertificate in Supported Housing, Charted Institute of Housing or equivalent (preferred but not essential or willing to work towards)Knowledge of Housing Benefit requirements and criteriaA wide knowledge of health and social issues that may affect our residentsAt least two years Housing experience in a similar or related field (essential)Ability to deal with challenging and emergency situations in a calm mannerExcellent customer service and communication skillsGCSE level C (or equivalent qualification) in Maths and English (essential)Ability to dive with access to own vehicle due to some SHC locations being in rural areasEmployment DetailsEmployment Type:3 month Fixed Term ContractHours:40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)Pay:30,601.83 AnnuallyLocation: Clevedown, Barons Down Road, Lewes, BN7 1EYBenefits25 days' annual leave(pro rated, plusbank Holidays)Contributory pensions scheme, with employer contributionsDedicated Employee Assistance Program -providingconfidential support and adviceRefer a Friend bonusFree on-site parkingJBRP1_UKTJ
