Job Title: Engineering SchedulerLocation: Corby, Northamptonshire (On-site)Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PMSalary: 26,000 per annum (subject to experience)Start Date: ASAPWe are seeking a proactive and highly organised Engineering Scheduler to coordinate daily jobs for a busy team of mobile engineers. Based in Corby, this is a full-time, office-based role ideal for someone local with prior experience in a corporate, fast-paced scheduling environment.Key Responsibilities of this Engineering Scheduler position:Schedule and manage daily tasks for a team of 20 mobile engineers (e.g., plumbers, technicians)Use job scheduling software and internal systems to coordinate tools, stock, and logisticsLiaise with clients via phone and email to confirm appointments and updatesEnsure jobs are completed on time and to a high standardMaintain accurate records using Salesforce, BigChange, JobWatch, and internal stock systemsTrack job progress and resolve scheduling conflictsSupport key account management, ensuring end-to-end follow-through of jobsAdapt quickly to changes and reallocate resources as neededRequirements for this Engineering Scheduler position:Previous experience in engineering/job scheduling or coordination in a corporate environmentConfident communicator with excellent phone manner must enjoy engaging with customersProficient in Microsoft Office and general computer systemsFamiliarity with scheduling tools such as Salesforce, BigChange, or similarStrong problem-solving and time-management skillsAbility to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environmentLocal to Corby or within easy commuting distanceA-levels or college diploma preferred; university degree advantageous but not essential.INDMANDue to the high number of applications, we may not be able to respond to everyone individually.
