Electrical Section Lead/Manager Mansfield, Nottinghamshire 45,15437 bookable annual leave days, private healthcare for employee, partner and child Shifts Monday to Friday, rotating weeklyWeek 1: 07:00 - 15:00 or 08:00 - 16:00Week 2: 07:00 - 15:00 or 08:00 - 16:00Week 3: 07:00 - 15:00 or 08:00 - 16:00Week 4: 16:00 - 04:00 + 1 hour on Saturday and SundayAbout the Role We are currently recruiting for a driven and forward-thinking Electrical Section Lead/Manager to join the team at our Mansfield site. This is a senior position with responsibility for leading and developing the electrical section, overseeing utilities, and ensuring the smooth running of all electrical systems on site.This role would suit a hands-on engineer who has the technical expertise to lead by example, but also the ambition to step into a management position and influence the wider business. The successful candidate will be integral in ensuring equipment and utilities operate at peak performance, while driving continuous improvement and creating a culture of safety, reliability, and innovation.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the electrical section, setting clear objectives and supporting team developmentDeliver effective maintenance and improvement programmes across all electrical systems and utilitiesEnsure compliance with SHE standards, creating a safe and efficient working environmentOversee preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and maximise performanceFault-find and programme on Mitsubishi & Siemens PLCsSupport utilities management including boilers, gas, air handling, heating and ventilationWork closely with cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellenceDrive continuous improvement projects to enhance performance and efficiencyWhat We're Looking ForHNC or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical or MechatronicsUtilities knowledge (boilers, gas, air handling, heating & ventilation)Experience with Mitsubishi & Siemens systems - programming and fault findingStrong understanding of multi-voltage AC/DC, inverters, panels, instrumentation and PCB boardsFamiliarity with CAD and electrical drawingsPrevious leadership or supervisory experience would be advantageousA proactive, ambitious individual looking to progress their career in a leadership capacityIf you are an ambitious electrical engineer with leadership skills and a passion for continuous improvement, we would love to hear from you.Please send your CV or give me a call on 01455 413 103.
