We are representing a leading residential developer seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their business. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved at the very earliest stage of landmark London projects, offering excellent scope for progression as the developments move forward.Typical Responsibilities:Lead robust and ethical procurement practices, including subcontractor selection, negotiation, and drafting of Articles of Agreement.Manage subcontractor accounts, payments, valuations, variations, and final accounts.Prepare, review, and present commercial reports including CVRs, project cost reports, and cash flow forecasts to senior management.Resolve contractual disputes and legal issues, ensuring compliance with contract terms, statutory obligations, and funding conditions.Provide accurate financial control, forecasting, and reporting throughout pre-construction and delivery stages.Support build contract execution and keep partners, clients, and stakeholders informed of project progress.Contribute to risk management, value engineering, cost-saving initiatives, and continuous efficiency improvements.Maintain strong client relationships and provide market feedback to pre-construction teams to inform land bids.Attend key handover meetings from pre-construction to operations.Mentor junior surveyors, drive engagement, and role model behaviours in line with company values.Package & Benefits:Competitive salary + travel allowanceDiscretionary bonus schemeAnnual salary reviewSalary sacrifice car schemeUp to 33 days annual leave + bank holidaysPrivate medical insuranceCompetitive pension scheme through salary sacrificeLife assurance
