At dnata, we are by your side for the entire travel experience. dnata Catering and Retail is one of the world’s leading in-flight hospitality providers, delivering world-class culinary services and innovative products that enhance our passengers’ experience.What the role is: You will be responsible for liaising directly with airside flight coordinators to capture and communicate key information relating to meal figures and aircraft stand number changes. You will be required to check, file and accurately input information onto our in-house database, circulating any changes or increases to the relevant internal department in a timely manner. What you’ll be doing will include: Retrieve all meal figures received via telex and customer specific systems for distribution to the relevant internal departments. Creating of pick daily pick listEnsuring all HMRC processes are adhered toUpdating and ensuring the maintaining of meal figures into the systemPrinting of labels for all airlinesAccurately completing relevant documentation for example Compliance, HACCP, etc.Reporting any accidents or incidents and ensure any corrective actions are undertakenContributing to generating new ideas and actively implementing and promoting changeWhat you’ll have will include: Excellent customer service skillsExcellent communication and influencing skills with both internal and external stakeholdersStrong IT skills; Microsoft Excel and WordHighly organised and motivated with the ability to solve problems and work within strict deadlinesAbility to deliver and improve upon set targetsTo be self-disciplined, reliable and accurate with a keen eye for detailStrong team player with a pro-active nature and self-motivated with the ability to work both as a team member and on own initiativeExperience working within airline catering industry Please note the address for our Heston unit is: 1-3 The Encompass Centre, International Avenue, Heston, Middlesex, TW5 9NJ
