Ramsey Day Nursery is offering a theopportunity to join our team.Weare seeking a SEN Support Assistant to join theteam to supportchildren within the nursery throughout the week on an enhanced ratio. we are looking for someone who can come and build bonds to support with non verbal communication and a variety of needs on aday to day basis within the rooms.Within this role you will support and promote their individual development with lots of sensory play and regulating activities whilst encouraging and supportingdaily routine 'safety, working closely with the nursery SENCo, childrensfamiliesand any other outside agencies to promote the best outcomes for the child.Main responsibilities include:Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources, that are appropriate to their age and stage of developmentUnderstand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are metEnsure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery, and promote these daily in every routineUndertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the day, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff and familiesMaintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and proceduresRequirements and skills:SEN Experience - essentialFluent in written and spoken English - essentialExperience working with SEN children - essentialOver 1 years experience of working in Early Years - desirableKnowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirableWhy Join Us?At Family First, we value our team members and offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:Annual Leave: Starting at 24 days, plus a paid day off for your birthday and bank holidaysEmployee discount / Childcare: 75% off nursery fees for our team membersHealth & wellbeing programme: Confidential employee assistance helpline available and mental health first aid trained staff.
