Job Description

Merrifield Consultants are excited to partner with a London Based charity for their new Operations Administrator. It is an exciting time to join a growing charity and play a key role in supporting a busy and dynamic team. We are looking for a proactive and organised Operations Administrator to join on a temporary basis until Christmas.Details:Job title: Operations / HR administrator Salary: 14-16 per hour Location: Fully remote (with travel into London once every 3 weeks) Contract: Temporary, until Christmas 2025 Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm Start date: ASAPJob Responsibilities:Supporting the in-house recruitment team with compliance and onboarding of new startersAdvertising vacancies on job boards and managing the application processCoordinating interview panels and ensuring adjustments are in place where neededDrafting offer letters, contracts, and induction programmes for new staffManaging shared inboxes, responding to queries, and providing general admin supportCarrying out pre-employment checks, including right-to-work, references, and DBSMaintaining accurate compliance records and updating internal systemsCoordinating IT and equipment requests with suppliers, including delivery and returnsBooking office space and hot desks in London as neededProviding wider operational and administrative support across the teamExperience:Strong administrative experience (ideally in operations, HR, governance, or recruitment)Confident in chasing documentation and managing compliance processesExcellent attention to detail and able to work to tight deadlinesStrong communication skills, with a professional and supportive approachFamiliarity with DBS checks and right-to-work requirements is desirableProficiency with Microsoft Office and TeamsA flexible, “can do” attitude and ability to work independently in a remote environmentThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing charity and contribute to meaningful work while developing your skills in a supportive environment.
